Keeping Up With Lightning Changes On the Internet

We know the internet is changing at lightning fast speeds. How do we keep up? It seems like every day there is a new way to use the internet in our normal lives, not just for work. Some of the changes we do not even see. There are not many things we do that cannot be accomplished on the internet. We can video chat, instead of calling someone on the phone. This can be done from our computers, phones and some other devices via the internet. How often do you look for a restaurant online? You can even place a take out order online. In a normal day, how often do we use the internet? Our calendars are online and send reminders to our phones. We then seek directions on how to get to our appointments. We check our email from our mobile devices in the parking lot before our meeting. We stream live video or presentations. On the way home, we use the internet to find the nearest gas station. After picking up dinner we ordered on the restaurant website, we purchase movie tickets to see the latest show. We pay for our coffee after the movie by adding money to our gift cards, or on our mobile device! These changes are helpful to daily life. Keeping up with these lightning changes has become a part of our lives. Now if only the internet could do our grocery shopping…oh, wait…
